 | This is a mid 1980's craft and we have known the boat for many years. She is an ideal dive boat and in fact is fitted with a bottle/gear rack. The GRP hull is ok and the tubes in fair condition, she holds good pressure for a few days then needs topping up. Once upon the plane in still water she virtually flies with negligible wash. I took her out a few weeks ago and she is very fast, I still had the grin on my face a couple of hours later. She is not a new boat but at this price what do you want! the only thing that needs doing before going to sea is the electrics behind the dashboard need tidying up , its a real cats cradle in there ! This is not a big job, she only has ignition, nav lights, vhf radio and bilge pump to worry about. The battery was new 6 months ago. She has been used as a reserve/training boat for our local lifeboat crew and has been replaced with something much slower and boring with a deckhouse, much to the crews disgust. There is no trailer but she can be delivered by road anywhere at fuel cost only. |

| Please note price is in Euro's not STERLING This traditional motor sailer was built at Piraeus in 1991 by craftsmen from Syros and Spetses, islands in the Cyclades. She is very heavily built and a comfortable sea kindly vessel. In typical Mediteraenean fashion, accomodation on deck to sit or sunbath is well provided for. The foredeck always is a popular place under way and the grating seat in the bows is a lovely place to dwell and listen to the chuckle of the bow wave when under way. You can stroll around the sidedecks in comfort and safety and not catch yourself on cleats and winches, oh what joy!. The aft deck is well shaded when the awning is rigged, a favorite spot when at anchor to sit with a bottle of wine and watch the sun go down, its bigger than it looks in the photographs, especially when the wheelhouse doors are open.  | Libary Photograph The Moonraker Twin Screw Fly Bridge Motor Yacht as built by JCL Marine, Brundal Norfolk and owned by the late Colin Chapman of Lotus Cars is probably the most inovative and succesful Motor Cruiser built in the 1970's and 80's. Designed initially by Robert Tucker, one of the UK's most prolific small craft designers, her clean razor edge styling still turn heads today . Very seaworthy her only vice being that she is a wet boat in a head sea with the wind forward of the beam, otherwise she is capable of making fast passages in rough weather, not for nothing was the boat called a "Softrider". They are found all over Europe, some in the USA and even in Australia. A thriving owners club exists and spare parts are easily obtained. The majority of the Fly Bridge boats are fitted with Perkins T6354 175 HP Diesels, about a dozen were fitted with 180 HP Fords, a very few have been re-engined with larger Mercruisers on reduction gearboxes and four bladed props.
